Default 60K Mile Service - Have a Few ???'s

I'm approaching 50k miles with the Aspen, and was going to start gradually doing the services. My questions are about what the OEM items were. Since I've had some experience with Chrysler vehicles in the past, I know they can be very tempermental with non-OEM speced parts.

What spark plugs are used? NGK?

Gear fluid for front and rear differentials? I have the 4WD Hemi.

Transmission services? Did you have just a filter change and fluid replenishment, or complete tranny flush?

Transfer case? I assume it just takes a drain and fill with ATF +4, but if anyone knows for sure, that'd be great.

Has anyone changed the rear diff fluid with the Watts link in the back? Should I just pump out the old fluid through the fill hole, or attempt to crack the pumpkin in half?

Absolutely.......

Removing the watts Pinion bolt can be Hair raising...And Putting it back can be even Worse.

The cover is aluminum, and if you crack it.....Youre in trouble..there will be no way to remove the link hardware without removing it from the vehicle, and those covers arent cheap if you had to replace it.....

The drawback to pumping it out, is that you wont get the opportunity to inspect the "MAGNET" for any "Chunks" that may be wandering around in the housing.

That's what I thought... the Chrysler Tech I was talking to said that's all they do anyways.

Would 140w gear oil be ok to put in both diffs?

When I said crack, by the way, I meant split the two halves.

Right....And when I said crack, I meant thread the bolt in crooked, and Split The 1 Half

As for fluid.....Look at your owners manual....Theyre all different....
