Default CAI for 08 Aspen

I recently purchased a 2008 Aspen. Very nice ride only bas thing is it does not have a HEMI and it has been tough finding performance parts or it. I have put a Gibson exhaust on it and it sounds great. My next mod was going to be a CAI but I have not been able to find one for the 4.7. Anyone know where I can find one?

I'd check autoanything -- as they carry most brands. Chances are, if they don't have one, there's none available. I'm in the same boat -- as there's nothing for the 09 Hemis either. Airaid makes a quickfit kit for the 09 Hemis, but it doesn't look like it's worth the $250 price tag. The OEM setup is actaully designed well. I went with an aFe Pro Dry S drop-in.

Just wishful thinking, I guess!! Thought maybe someone in here stumbled on one somewhere. I may look into doing a custom one. I have seen some nicely done "hombrew" intakes online. I do have a K&N filter in it and I agree the stock setup is actually done nicely. In the end, I guess a CAI would only give me a few extra HP, just thought it would sound pretty nice.

K&N seems to have the most choices. They claim a 16.75 horsepower increase...that's pretty lofty for a CAI only.

These intakes are not that restrictive. A K&N will flow much, much more air than the upper intake can handle. The stock airbox is actually sufficient in this case. Unless you start changing the upper intake, plenum, TB, etc, allowing more air to the engine isn't really a gain in power at all.

The intake already is segregated from the engine bay, so it's already getting "cold air".
