Default Need coolant temperature sender wire colors.

I am fabricating in a electric fan to replace the noisy belt driven fan. Does anyone know the wire colors for the signal wire vs the ground wire on the temp sender to the computer.

year make modal engine size. and I would not wire up a fan from a sensor wire i would guarantee you will nuke the PCM that way.

Sorry, For some reason all my profile stats have been deleted. 2008 Aspen 5.7 The manufacture of the fan controller states the their signal wire input impedance is megohms and will not effect the pcm in any way. Thanks for your concern and help.

ok so you want to have the signal wire from the temp sensor to a separate controller and from there it controls a separate fan?
I still say it will cause an issue with the input to the PCM. The coolant tenp sensors are what is called a NTC Negative Thermal Coefficient as the temp goes up the resistance voltage in the sensor goes down. And there is a half ay point where it recycles itself and the 5v signal refreshes and starts back over to 5 volts again..
The LT blue/Red is the ETC signal from the PCM
Dark blue /Dark Green is the sensor ground to the PCM.

First of all, thank you for your time and expertise. Your info has been most helpful. I will forward your concerns to the builder of the fan controller. I believe the controller is just looking for voltage reference points. It will be T ing into the wire, so both systems will be getting the same signal. I will monitor the before and after voltages of the sending unit with my scanner.
