Overheating
I live in Southern California and I am having a problem with my 2007 Chrysler Aspen overheating on very hot days while I am just idling. My temperature guage begins to creep up to 3/4 and my air conditioner begins to blow warm air. As soon as begin to drive the guage will go back to normal, but when I am idling it will begin to creep up again. It's worse on extremely hot days. I have taken the vehilce to the dealership and they replaced the radiator but it has not solved the problem. Does anyone have any answers?

Same exact problem now much worse!!!
I have an 2007 Chrysler 4.3 my issue started just like discribed no different what so ever.. now it runs hot to the point I must cut it off and abandon it!! It dosnt seem to leak any fluids. Water pump and thermostat look good! Thermostat is new!! At this point I am just not sure does ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA ON WHAT TO DO?? WHAT TO CHECK??

Only things I can think of for overheating:
1. Fan - Is the fan moving as it should be? This is what helps keep air flowing through radiator when at a stop.
2. Water pump - Is water pump circulating water as necessary? Does it have an air bubble in line causing stop of flow?
3. Thermostat - Is the thermostat stuck causing no flow of water? May need to be replaced.
4. Air flow - Are the fins on the radiator or AC condenser blocked? If they are blocked, no air will flow even with fan on.
