Prices paid for 2008 Aspen
Hello,
New to the forum and hope to learn lots while I'm here! I don't own an Aspen yet, but am shopping for one, and was at the dealer today. In my opinion I was not offered a very good deal, and was told there is very little markup on these vehicles. Just curious what you'all have experienced for prices offered, or prices paid for your Aspen.
In our case we are pricing a totally decked out Aspen Limited AWD with Navigation and 5.7 Hemi, 20" wheels, sunroof, 2nd row buckets. MSRP came to $44,280 and there is a $3K rebate available until 02/29/08 bringing it down to $41,280. The dealer offered us an additional $1,000 discount, which seems paltry. What's your experience? What could I/should I expect?
Thanks to all!

2008 Aspen Limited sticker $44810 this is a 4wd unit, 5.7 Hemi and I don't think there is any option we missed...Dealer Invoice was $41,096... apply $3000 rebate takes you to $38,096, we walked out the door for $37,130...
I had an internet offer from another dealer on a $44,010 unit similar but it did not have the second row heated bucket seats.. was offered at $36,060... I didn't like the color so opted for the the first unit mentioned. I used it to leverage the first dealer who stateded that the dealer was giving it away.. neverthe less he cut his price below invoice... getting a vehicle for invoice should be a no brainer after which you take the rebate
