Default Problem: Blinking/flickering lights

I was parked at a friend's house the other night & I notice lights flickering inside my Aspen. Under the dash lights on the driver & passenger side. Then I looked at my dash/clock (I keep the dash dimmed as low as possible) and noticed it was flickering too. So at that point I'm like WTF. I got out too check the exterior lights and my head & tail lights were flickering too. Now I am hoping this is not an altenator issue but I wanted to know if anybody else was having this issue.

The overhead dome/map lights are fine as well as the foglights/tailgate light

I notice you have some audio upgrades - does it make a difference whether you have the system on or off? I'm thinking maybe a capacitor upgrade, particularly if this is only happening at idle.

Otherwise, you might be on point with guessing the alternator.

No it happens while driving too. I took a trip to AutoZone to get the battery & alternator checked & they both were fine. Just so happen the guy that did the test has an '07 Charger with the same problem. Turns out he had a HID kit on it & that was the problem. The xenons where to strong as a simple plug-n-play. He resolved it by running relay wires or something. I' m going to convert my head/fog lights back to stock & see if that helps.

Took it to the dealer and of course they couldn't find any problems. It is not as noticeable with the stock lights but it is there....very faint. So I will purchase me a yellow top optima battery and a set of Notto HID head/fog lights. The ones I had before are Euro dezigns. After doing research, I notice this happens alot with HIDs in all makes & models(not all the time)

Well my fear has become me reality BaD Alternator! Well luckily I got x-mas shopping done already. I'm purchasing a 180 high output amp alternator to replace this old 136 stock one. Wil also get a red top optima battery. New H.I.Ds also
