Crossfire Computer Trouble
Has anyone had trouble with the on board computer shutting the car down? Mine did that last Sunday and had to be towed to the dealer. There was no warning the car was dead upon trying to start it. Jumping was not successful either. The dealer had to reset the computer system to get the car going again. I have a 2007 Roadster model.

RE: Crossfire Computer Trouble
YES!! [:@]3 times! It would just die for no reason and then would not start for roughly 2 hours afterward...The first time I was out in the boondocks with no cell phone...had it towed to a local Chrysler dealership who told me there was nothing wrong with it, it must have been a ...quote..."fluke". (I no longer take my car there.)The second time I was in the middle of a very busy intersection, had it towed to a different Chrysler dealership and they replaced the BCM. (huh?) The third time I was leaving work and it wouldn't start. They dealership replaced the ignition switch and the power distribution center. Luckily all of this was covered by warranty. The secret to solving this issue seemed to be the power distribution center which would have over/under voltage error readings...sorry I'm a woman and none of this makes sense to me. But I haven't had the problem since. Hope this helps! Personally I have never had such an unreliable car...but I am so obsessed/possessed (can't decide which) by myXfire I could never let it go!!
