Default 04 pacifica tranny problem! Help!

I think my 04 pacifica tranny is done. When it is put into Drive or reverse it doesn't move but when it is in park it makes a grinding noise. Any help on this would be great. It was making a popping noise when I made sharp corners about a week ago and now this. Let me know. Thanks

I presume you have checked the tranny fluid. The noise you were getting can be an indication that the torque converter is low in oil or rather the tranny is low in oil and as you turn the corners the oil is slushing about and not engaging the torque converter properly.

It was the front turbine speed sensor. Cost like $15 at autozone.
