Default 05 gps and radio problems

Hi, I just bought an 05 and love it so far except for these 2 problems. When I drove it home the gps seemed to work ok, maybe a little slow. However the next day up until now the gps has a hard time finding where it is at. The car symbol arrow just spins in circles and it continually is recalculating the route. It will find itself every couple of minutes, but then it starts spinning again. Also there is no beeps or voice during navigation and I have it set to both and 5. I took the dvd out and it looked ok and put it back in and checked the antenna on the roof and they both looked fine.

The radio volume normally changes with the speed, but ours goes from normal to very low every once in a while even when not changing speeds. Maybe these are related. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

The GPS in my '05 Pac ceased to work a few years ago. Multiple replacement units, sourced from ebay, has failed to get it going. If your 05 GPS is half working count yourself lucky. In regard to the changing radio volume with speed, thought that was only a GM problem.
