Default 05 Pacifica Bad Fuel Pump?

I have an 05 Pac AWD that stalled. while i was driving i noticed that the car slowed down and no matter how much i step on the gas, it just wont go faster. i turned into a side street but half way into the turn, the engine died. i try to start it a couple of times, it starts but die right away until it just wont start anymore(just cranks). i try to hit the tank with a rubber mallet and had my buddy start it and it does but dies. so we think its the pump. i try to lower the tank to get to the pump only to find out that it has two tanks connected. and no way to drop it coz the exhaust is on the way.

my question is:
a- how do i get to the pump?
b- 2 tanks=2 pumps?
c- how do i know which ones bad if it has 2 pumps?
d- what type pump do i need (part #/#s will really help)

any info you can share will be really appreciated. thanks in advance!

Paul

buy a service manual it will tell u how to remove the pumps
as for part numbers they will be different for each maker of the pump
the siphon pump #2 is not a motor its uses vacuum to pull it over to the main side to be sucked up by the pump to go to the engine.
