Summary:
CERTAIN SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH HALOGEN HEADLAMPS MAY EXPERIENCE AN INTERMITTENT AND EVENTUAL TOTAL LOSS OF HEADLAMP FUNCTION.
Consequence:
THE HEAD LIGHTS MAY NOT OPERATE PROPERLY WHICH COULD RESULT IN INTERMITTENT OR NO HEADLIGHT FUNCTION. THIS COULD IMPAIR A DRIVER'S VISIBILITY, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
Remedy:
DEALERS WILL INSPECT, AND REPLACE IF NECESSARY, THE WIRING HARNESS AND LOW BEAM BULB ON BOTH HEADLAMP ASSEMBLIES. THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT YET PROVIDED AN OWNER NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE FOR THIS CAMPAIGN. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT DAIMLERCHRYSLER AT 1-800-853-1403.

The company has recalled over 43,000 of their Pacifica model SUV's, because the halogen headlights may stop working.
This recall affects Pacificas made in 2005. Daimler Chrysler says, if you have a 2005 model Pacifica, just take it to a dealership and your headlights will be inspected and replaced for free.

I just had a problem with my left headlight and then it came back on and then the right went out, I thought it was electrical took it too dealer last week and they charged 63 to replace as it is a 2004.
I am having many problems all of a sudden, it is making me scared.

the silly thing is the bulb socket is not bent correctly and the new replacement wiring is made in mexico lol
made in the us with pride....
just kidding its kinda funny though dont ya think the us ones are messed up and the made in mexico are the good ones
dcx warrantied alot of full headlamps before they found out what was up with it i still have about 6 assemblies in my garbage pile in back..
