Default 06 Pacifica 1500-2000RPM loop

I have a 06 pacifica touring AWD and I notice when the engine is not warm when I push the gas pedal the car do not response for a couples of seconds, in fact it when it reach 2000RPM it come back to 1500RPM ( do not reponse to gas pedal). I changed EGR valve, spark plugs, TPS sensor and do the fuel injector service; the problem is still there. The most wierd fact is if the vehicle reach the speed to automatic door look act, then the it have a good response. I mean the problem always happen before automatic door lock acts. Does anybody have any idea about this???? Thanks!

Default Pcm

Problem was the PCM. I just replace the PCM with a rebuilt one and that solve the problem.

How did you determine it was the PCM?

It was hard work. First, scan the pcm once and obtain: Bad egr valve (solve), then scan PCM: (wrong sparkplug) and was the oem spark plug, I changed them. Scan PCM: (TPS slow response) I changed TPS. Scan PCM: (O2 sensor heater circuit) I changed O2 sensor (both of them). Scan PCM: (Air intake circuit one open) checked and circuit was good. At this moment the car still has the problem. Some times passeger Airbag disconneted light comes on. The funny part was if the automatic door look act the the car didn't fail. I wasn't sure the problem was the PCM, but I took the risk and that solved the problem.

Wouldn't a reflash have the same outcome or was it determined that there was a hardware failure within the PCM?

At this point I can't tell you if a reflash solve the problem, I didn't try to reflash the original PCM because the dealer ask me for more money to reflash my old PCm that the money I paid for the rebuild one. it came programed with the mileage and VIN of my pacifica for 150$ (ebay seller), a kind of plug and play!

Not a bad deal at all! I wish Stealerships would treat their customers better, especially when having an issue with THEIR product!
