Default 07 Pacifica vibration- rear end

My 2007 Pacifica has started to vibrate between 30-55 mph at low rpm. If I give it more gas and increase engine speed, the vibration goes away. It doesn't appear before or after these speeds. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

HELLO, i have the same problem on my limited AWD from 2007 ! i think vibrations stop at 55mph because after the vehicle run only on front wheels only.
Chrysler change on my pacifica all rear axle with differential, viscous coupler, drive shaft, carrier, solenoid, and flex coupling, and the problem is again here !
if you have the solution, i will be happy !!!

I have identified the problem with my PAC. Since there is no u-joint in the rear, chrysler used a rubber dampening/coupler piece to mate the rear drive shaft to the rear end. I live in Arizona, so the heat has melted part of this rubber unit. Unfortunately, I can't buy the piece separately, I have to buy the whole drive shaft, which is on back order from Chrysler. The drive shaft is over $1000 for the part alone. Hopefully this will fix the problem. Good luck with yours.

Yes you change the drive shaft and the flex coupling like i do next 4 months before, but the problem is coming again after some miles ! it's not normal to change this part before 100000 miles, and the heat of you area is not in case i think ! the problem is somewhere other. My PAC has 98000 miles, and the problem start at 66000 miles with only a small noise before 55 miles like a rolling noise; and after change different parts like differential, viscous coupler, etc...the noise still here, but after miles problem still here and i have to change drive shaft and flex coupling (in one parts like you say). The problem is coming from other part i think.....
thank you, and good luck for you to.....

I have a question for you tcook726, are you tires same brand and model in front and rear ? because someone from a chrysler dealer say to me that the problem can be issue from that in my car. I have the good tires dimensions, but not the same brand and models in front than in rear tires, and on a awd it may cause problems like small vibration at start and issue breaking some parts......let me do please.

Default Pacifica drive shaft flex coupler

Chrysler won't sell you the flex coupler for the rear drive shaft on a Pacifica. They expect you to buy the drive shaft for about $1500. I have the replacement couplers in stock.

I can supply the rubber flex coupler alone, without having to buy the whole drive shaft.
