Default vibration

I talked to a local drive shaft shop who ordered the rubber coupler for $98. Gonna have them install it as it looks like it needs to be pressed in and out. I believe the problem came from different brand tires on front and back. I had same sizes, but different brands. I'll let you know how much it winds up costing me in the end.

I have replacement couplers without the drive shaft in stock. I can ship one out to you. You need to check the differential as it may be over loading the coupler. You also have to keep all the tires equal in type, size and tread depth.

I also have an 07 Pacifica AWD with almost 170K on it. I haven't checked that I need that rubber coupler for my drive shaft, but suspect that I do. I am also having some strange vibration that comes and goes. (It seems to only do it for the first few minutes of coming up to 60-65mph... so maybe something different if it's true that the rear axle disengages beyond 55mph, which makes sense to me. If you still stock that part how does one go about purchasing it? Would you be willing to throw a part number out on the forum so that people can find it?

Default Rear End Vibration- Answer

I also have one of these rubber couplers available. I ordered two of these couplers by accident and the other one is sitting here. I don't know why other people are trying to sell them for such a profit on this thread, but I will sell mine for $150.

Also, the part number is GAR03-002. I tried looking up the other number from the other seller and couldn't find it.

If anyone needs one, let me know and I can give you my email and paypal info.

This thread has been pretty quiet for a while, but does anybody still have a flex joint available or know where I could order one? If so, what price and is shipping available? I believe I need one, but I haven't had a chance to check it yet. As of right now I am just exploring options for potential solutions. Thanks.

I sent you an email, but after inspecting it, the flex joint is fine. I suspect something further up in the drive shaft. There are what appear to be two carrier bearings on the drive shaft and I suspect I may have a failure in one or both of these.
