19 Inch tires
Just curious if anybody else has had as much bad luck with their 19 inchfactory tires as me. Within the first year we have had to replace each, one by one, at an average cost of $275. The first problem to surface was a bubble in the sidewall within the first month of purchase. Chrysler gave the proverbial explanation that I must have hit something, although there was no other damage or scuffs to the sidewall. The next problem was a simple puncture that could not be fixed. The list goes on.
Just curious of the experience others have had with theirs.

RE: 19 Inch tires
Believe me, I was royally pissed, but it did me not an ounce of good. The warranty on tires is an oxymoron. Unless the ply is coming off in your hands (or worse) the manufacturer will always claim the problem is with the user.

RE: 19 Inch tires
I DREAD the day I have to replace mine. I'd rather have had the 17 in tires, less cost to replace & softer ride due to larger sidewall but my Pac came with the 19's. I may look at buying new 17 in rims (aftermarket OEM types can be had for about $300 - $400 a set for just the wheel) and buy new tire to mount on them. It'll probably cost the same as just replacing the 19 in tires then I'll only have to put tires from then on. Plus you don't have as many choices when it comes to 19 in replacement tires. The 19's do look nice but I don't feel it's worth the extra cost.
