2005 Chrysler Pacifica - RPM going up and down by itself - sometimes stops running
I keep the pedal constant, but RPM goes up and down.
Alternator is 1 VDC to low at 13.45 VDC, but it has been like that for some time.
Stops running sometimes too.
Smells like gas out of the tailpipe when the revs flucate, so I think it's getting fuel when the revs are falling, but gas is not igniting, but I could be wrong about what the smell is.
Here is a video of it happening:

Problems only occur roughly at idle, when you try to go.
And then when in park the idle fluctuates.
I can't drive it and it goes past 3,000 RPM
But when in part the RPM just bounces from 2,000-2,500 RPM (now it's a little lower, the last time I tried it) by itself.

MR jimmy this is modern electronics and computer systems programmed to do certain things with certain guidelines. Like take for-instance when you in park a software guy figured there is no reason for you to rev the engine over say 3k rpm when your not going ne where. so what they did is program the PCM when in park revving the engine over 3 k they shut the fuel off because well what the hell do you need to rev the engine up for? it not a hot rod your not gonna peal out in a family car are ya? nope. What are are experiencing is normal .

Okay, thanks for the help.
Could it be possible my problems are caused by a weak alternator?
I only get 13.45 VDC.
My main problem is the car "shuttering" or not running well at low RPM and going from a stand still.
And shutting off at low speed/RPM, 0-15 MPH or so.

Normal?
How can that be normal? I have the same issue..2004 Pacifica..car goes to 4000 rpm on start up then bounces between 2-3 rpm car shifts fine but I have no brakes and when you press the gas theres nothing! Car does not move or brake!
