Default 2006 Pacifica Problem with Front A/C Blower

The problem started with the blower not coming on at all when the car is first started, but it it will start running after about 3 to 5 minutes. The rear blower works fine.
The next issue is the front blower will come when the the car is first started and blow like gangbusters for 15-30 minutes of running. Then the air flow will gradually diminish until there is nothing.
I thought the system was low on refrigerate and freezing up, so I had it serviced and everything is ok. The mechanic said that I may have a blower going as he felt like the air blower speed was varying speed on its own(pulsing).

The question is do I have a blower problem or resistor pack problem or both?
Any help would be appreciated.

Marty

I would say a blower motor problem. If it were the resistor, the fan speed would probably be stuck on high only.

BTW, the system in this car is the automatic dual temp control system. Looks like it is the blower. Does anyone have a part # for the front blower for this setup?

The dual temp control has nothing to do with the blower motor itself. Just go to a scrap yard and pull one off any old Dodge Caravan/Chrylser T&C from 01' to 06'. That's what I did(off a Caravan), put a small amount of WD-40 and presto. It was a 10$ fix. Easy fix, if you want, I can send you the link.
