2007 pacifica 4.0 Touring
Greetings,
I have a 2007 V6 4.0L Pacifica with 120K. Without warnings, about two weeks ago the car will not start, the engine will just turn and turn.
This is what I did so far:
Checked fuel pump fuse and it was ok.
The relay for the fuel pump is the same for other things, so I just switched a couple of times and tried.
Two weeks ago I remember not hearing the fuel pump "buzz" when turning the key, so since the fuse /relay were OK I concluded that the fuel pump was bad, so I replaced the fuel pump.
The "buzz" of the fuel pump is certainly back, and now the engine will turn, quickly start but go right off (So the engine is on for about a second) so it seems that the problem is different now. I tried just turning the key to the one position for 2 seconds, back to off for a dozen times or so and try then to start the car without success.
I am now wondering if my prognosis of a bad fuel pump was correct... What else could be causing the problem?
Any suggestions would be amazing because I need to get this car back to work!
Thank you,

Heres an obvious question. How much gas is in the truck when it failed to start? These vehicles are very picky and have behaviour issues when you run them till empty and then refuel. When the tank is empty only air is going thru the fuel pump and throughout the system. This tends to foul up the fuel pump (the fuel lubricates it) and throws the sensors in a loop
If you can get a full tank of gas into her - try starting her up again when you have a full tank. And if Im not mistaken these vehicles have 2 fuel pumps
