Default 2007 Pacifica Warranty repairs

FYI

I saw oil on the pan on the 4.0L. Looked like a front crankshaft seal leaking. Also It looked like the small oil return hose next to the oil filter was leaking or at least seeping. Took it to my dealer. They confirmed the crank seal & said the water pump was also leaking. They replaced both under warranty which is up next month. My in service date is 5/3/07 and I have 28,700 miles on it. I just thought that this was pretty early for those types of failures.
I had a 2001 grand caravan before this car that had the water pump go on it (3.8L engine) while still under warranty. Evidently Chrysler uses cheap water pumps. Is the water pump on my Pacs 4.0 driven by the timing belt? I looked and don't see a pulley for it that the fan belt connects to.

Everything Crapler uses is cheap, their cars are pure junk. I regret buying it for my wife.
