Hi,
I am looking for an alternator for Pacifica and I am getting two different part numbers, each with a different amps rating.

My 2006 Pacifica (3.5L) has part# 4868760AH installed from factory with 160 amps. (made by Denso BTW)

I have a parts list for my car which specifies 4868760AF as recommended alternator with 145 amps. I can get this unit quite a bit cheaper.

Can any one please verify if I can use 4868760AF in my 2006 3.5L?'

Not sure about the part number. But I have experience with high end stereo systems, we would allays put in a heavier alternator for the extra current draw. With all of the stuff on the Pacifica the 160 amp is probable the best one.
