Any special tools needed to do the rear brakes on a 2006 Pacifica
My parking brake is out of adjustment so I figure the pads are worn out. I'm going to do the rear brakes tomorrow. Are there any special tools that I will need? Special something to back off the pad adjustment? First time brakes on a Pacifica.....thanks for any help

On the driver side, there will be a small rectangular rubber behind the assembly. Remove it to adjust the resistance for the parking brake. I don't know what the tool is called but it need to be in a "L" shape with a wide flat side at 1 end. Keep in mind, these are not my pictures, just re-posted from the web.

Ya, same as my truck, should be one on each side.
In the old days they made a separate backing plate for the right and left sides, now they use the same one, just rotate it, the right side is at the bottom, the driver's side is on top so adjusting the driver's side (on my truck) is practically impossible unless you take the wheel/tire off and use a mirrir to see what you're doing.
