Default Emissions Hose? ID help

Hello,

I have this vacuum hose loose on my Pacifica. There is definitely a vacuum sucking in because I feel it when I put my finger on the hose and can hear it sucking in air.

It is located on the front right of the vehicle. Pictures shown. Where is this hose suppose to attach to? It seems too short to connect over a long distance but I do not see anywhere obvious where it goes.

Engine was replaced last year so I feel this is something they missed

My apologies. I was doing this on a limited time basis while I was at my sisters for Christmas. I do not have the vehicle with me as it is hers. However below is a picture showing the area of the hose.

It is connected on one end where the 'circle' is and the hose hangs below it where the 'line' is:

I looked at my 2005 - there are two vacuum lines at that location. It looks like you have one already hooked up, going to the cruise control - it goes into a check valve into a thinner line in your photo. The other line is supposed to connect to the vacuum reservoir, which is underneath the battery. The vacuum connection faces towards the center of the car closer to the front of the car - the battery would be sitting above the picture below, the right of the picture is toward the front of the car. Hopefully this helps you out!

P.S. - click the thumbnail, not the red link - it doesn't work. I tried to just paste the image into the post, rather than as an attachment, creating that link, and now I can't delete it.
