What are you 3.5 awd and fwd guys showing for mileage?

Is there a big difference?

May add a Pacifica to the short list as a next car.

my 2004 AWD (with 150,000 miles) is getting 17mpg city/22mpg highway in the summer. On "winter gas", it drops to about 15/20. I'm around sea level in the Northwest US

Hi

'05 limited. My numbers are similar to the previous post. FWIW, the Edmund's reviews only show a 1 MPG difference in estimated mileage. Like many AWD systems, from what I have read, even with an AWD model you are really operating FWD most of the time. You have the additional weight of the rear driveline components and the "driveline drag" if you will of the PTU in front, the drive shaft sections and the rear differential. But it just does not add up to that much difference in MPG.

Hope you find something you like out there.

05 Touring FWD. Canada/East.

Summer tires: 18 MPG average.
Winter tires: 16.5~17 MPG average.

(75% highway @ 75MPH)
