Default Which headphones do I need?

We just picked up an 06 AWD Pacifica that has the RAH deck and 6 disc changer, but no screen, remote or headphones. Now I've searched and searched here and other forums about this, but which headphones do I need to get? Will the RF 900 mhz ones work (do they need the scan button?) or do I need theinfaredones? Not sure on this because in the owners manual packet there was the warranty card for the Koss DCX-HB75 headphones (but maybe they just stuck that card in every owner's manual packet...dunno). I plan on wiring in a screen that I was given (I'm a 12 volt installer - don't worry folks) and picking up the required remote control. My main goal is getting the dual source thing to work properly for the headphones. I hear so many people having problems getting this done. Any help is appreciated. Thanks very much.

Default RE: Which headphones do I need?

I think you need to pull the changer and get the P/N off of it (also check pin out diagram ontop of it) and then ask here or the dealer. Also.. MrCD1 on ebay sells this stuff and he may be able to tell you which ones to get if you give him the P/N

This guy has a lot of experience with these systems.

Also.. take a look here.. the pin out on the dvd changer will say if it is IR or not I believe.

Here is the info off my 2004 Koss headpones that are IR
P/N 05064037AA
S/N 005 04B0918
V/C 28046R
Manufacturer KOSS (pwr on/off and volume only)

Let us know how it all turns out.
