Ipod converter into the cd-changer port
Hey everyone. I have had my pacifica for almost a year now. It is a 2006 Pacifica, everything is all basic in it, no fancy radio or anything. So, I have the stock radio. I do not have a CD changer, however my radio has the "disc up" button and mode button.
So, at crutcfield it says I need this: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120CHTO...Interface.html
in order to install a new radio.
Well, I do not want a new radio. I just want something with an aux in so I can play my iPod via RCA/3.5mm
Would one of these work with my factory radio?

I am assuming that it would. The say they do not work with the RBQ, RB4, RAH, REV radios. Is the stock radio any of those?
Also, if it will work with my pacifica, do I need to run any extra power to my radio like the crutchfield item suggests?
Thank you so much in advanced. I have wanted to get rid of my iTrip FM thing for so long now, and the only thing that was stopping me from buying these aux input things was the fear of buying something that wouldn't work with my stock radio. I have done some reasearch but it seems like everyone has the radio with the cd changer. Again, my radio does have the annotations as if it had a cd changer with it, but the cd changing part of the radio did not come with my pacifica. (I bought my pacifica from Parkway Chrysler Jeep here in Michigan)

RE: Ipod converter into the cd-changer port
Don't buy anything on line. Best Buy had one they insisted would work on my radio. It did, but the dash lights wouldn't work. Iwent to an auto stereo and after going thru 5 catalogs, found one that worked just fine. And no I don't have the make or model.
