Default Navigation not working

I have searched everywhere and cant find an answer. I just bought an 05 Pacifica with the navigation. The dealer told me that it was working when it was traded in. The screen wont come on no matter what. The dvd is in the drive and the light comes on so the drive appears to be working. I could only find 1 fuse under the hood and that appeared fine. Everthing else works except the navigation. I read all the manuals. I am hoping it is something stupid that I overlooked. Could anyone shed some light on this.

Default RE: Navigation not working

I can't help electronically, but if a working nav system was part of the transaction with the dealer... I would be driving that car back and having them fix it. Or having them pay for the repair cost at another place, if it's a small dealer that doesn't service their own cars. The last car I bought had "power antenna" listed as a feature on their printed window ad, but once I got the car home I discovered it did not work. After a couple phone calls and a mention (by me) about notifying my attorney, they sent me a $50 check for the deductible on my warranty to have it repaired.

Thanks. I should have mentioned that the dealer did promise to take care of the problem. I just didnt want to go through the hassle of leaving it for a day or more when it something simple that I am missing
