Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.
On newer cars, the computer sometimes controls the stereo functions including audio output.
The new stereo will not be recognized until the computer is reset by disconnecting the battery for a little while.

i have similar problem.
i get no music coming from the speakers.
started with driver side with no sound then the next day no sound on passenger side but static sound on driverside.
i tried taking out fuses under the hood for the amp, multimedia, USB, DVD, driver door mod. without success.
not sure where to find this connector in the rear cargo.

No sound, no station change or u connect connecting
no volume or able to change/volume or station
hangs on reading bluetooth device
1)shut car off & restart car = nothing
2) switched fob's and now it works
So some how while fob got reprogrammed or fob battery is too low/dead to work correctly.
will try to reset fob to factory later.
