Default Pacifica with only one key.

Just bought a 2006 Pacifica. Only received one key. All programming instructions I see say that you have to have two working keys. What are my options to get a second working key with remote? How much would dealer charge for this?

It wasn't purchased from a dealer. Was purchased at auction so I am on the hook for taking care of the key cost. Car originally came from Ontario Chrysler when new.

Any dealership should be able to help you with your vehicle's VIN #'s.

I purchased my '04 from an independent used car dealer. It came with only one key. I purchased two new keys from a local Chrysler dealer for $175 each (yes, each) plus $75 to match/link the keys to the vehicle, with a warranty. If I had known before hand, I would have chewed the dealer down another $500 for only having one key.

Be careful to read the *FINE PRINT* at the sites that claim to sell $50 replacement keys for your vehicle. usually they are only the *shell* and require the working chip from your original key.
