Pacifica Powertrain...keep or trash
From my personal experience with a 2005 chrysler pacifica I personally believe it needs more displacment under the hood or a little more power. My car is equipped with the 3.5 litre v6 that gets 16.9 to the gallon on average but I dont notice any low rpm performance, its not until you really step on it to notice there is power there. I think its a great crossover car and should stay in production and all but needs a larger v6 or a small v8.

I am in full agreement with you. I just bought a 2006 Pacifica and really think they could do a lot better in the power department. I did not notice the lack of low end power so much during the test drive, but now that I have put 500 miles on it this week, I can say it could use a little pick me up. The engine power would probably be fine if they could shave some weight off the beast. I love the looks of the Pacifica, but I would love to have a sportier feel to it.

We have had ours for 800 miles now. We are very pleased. It has been really cold for two weeks and it has been getting 20mpg. The transmission shift pattern does get in the way sometimes when we need a quick gitup-and-go. We had an Expedition with the big V8 and the Pacifica performs better.

i know what you guys mean i dont own one but i did get to test drive one and i kinda think i needs more power.
But just for you pacifica owners a bit of info every once in awhile you need to really get on your cars if not the valves can and have gotten fouled with carbon build up.
dcx has isued a tsb on it and basically its carb clean and cleaning the valves but i have talked to a bunch of techs and they say that getting on it once in awhile would be better for the car.
