Hi Pam, glad you are able to get things fixed. Any chance you can take a vew good pics of the wires and areas of the problems and post them to educate some of the rest of us that might have simular problems. Good luck and let us all know. *BW*

Sorry i couldnt. I had to leave my car at the dealers, then i didnt go back till it was fixed. I can tell u exactly how it acted.
First it started dying on me with no warning. But would start back. Then it would act like it died, and heater and radio would go off and dash lights come on. Next when it would die, would take 3 tries before it would start. Finally it wouldnt start (turn key but nothin happened) or after 10 tries would start to die 2 seconds later.
I was told the wiring harness was under the dash. Which i would think would b protected from eroision???

i was fighting with the wiring harness challenge. high resistance in the wiring harness they call it. dealer wanted $4000 to do new wiring harness. my lights were flickering throughout the vehicle sporadically and not constantly so tough to diagnose. i so far have run an extra hot lead like ranzy outlined on this forum. so far the $9 cable has made the $4000 dealer fix go away.
