Default Rocker Arms and Cams

I recently had the rocker arms and cams replace at 34000 miles and now the same rattle is back and probably the same problem. I can't get it in until next week, but the sound is the same as last time.

In speaking to the service person at the dealership when I took it in to have the rocker arms replaced, he indicated that I had the second car in two days with the same problem and it seems to be a recurring problem as I did have to wait a month for the parts to come in because they were back ordered.

Anyone else having this same problem? Is this becoming a problem for others with the same make and model? Will it still be covered under the original warranty as it is related to the previous problem? (my car now has 37000 miles on it, so beyond the original mfg warranty, I have 80,000 certified warranty and an extended warranty also).

Just trying to figure out what is going on with my car.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello, I just had my rockers and rods done as well but only 3 sets a side were replaced. the cam was not replaced ...
I had only 25,000 miles on the car ! 2005 touring. the car will be 3 years old in July so the 7/70 kicks then.. but I don't think it's
going to be enough .. what did you pay for your extended warrantee ? did the dealer recommend all the rockers be replaced along with the cam ?

My wife and I have a 2006 Pacifica with a 3.5 double over head cam. It just got a bad ticking sound today. Located the sound to the top of the cylinder and know it is the tappets or cam shaft. Sounds like this is a design issue after reading the other post. Is anyone aware of a Technical Service Bulletin or 'silent recall' on this issue? I always like to enter a service center ata dealership with all of my aces ready if you know what I mean. Thanks in advance for your help.
