Scanner for 2005?
Hello everybody. Can someone suggest scanner for 2005 year car which will scan blocks too? I tried different scanners like "Launch Thinkdriver", "JDiag Fastlink", "CDP TCS multidiag" and they did not suit.

I use an app called Torque Pro on my phone. It's connected via Bluetooth to an OBDII Scanner installed in my car.

Here is the OBDII Scanner I purchased:
This will "decode" the fault codes from why the Check Engine Soon light is on

Stephenjxn's suggestion sure seems very cost effective. I like it better than my pretty cheap, old-style box scan tool which I use for engine codes. But to answer the OP regarding ABS sensors and such on the Pac, the only scan tool that I have found to provide answers to those codes is the high dollar Snap On scan tools and such. The Pac's electronics were built when Daimler Chrysler was calling the shots, using that good old German high tech kind of approach to make things plenty uber complex...

You wont really get one that will do more then abs pcm tcm oil change reset and maybe a throttle body reset. the rest of them are considered to be non essential for standard diog. IF you want that then you get to buy the big boys that are around 1500 and up.
This one will do about all a DIYer would need for the money.
