Default Tire Rotation Problems

Seems silly I can't figure out how to get the back tires off. However, after removing all 5 lug nuts, both back tires won't budge an inch, much less come close to coming of the lug bolts. Is ther another piece that needs removed (other than the lug nuts) that will allow the back wheels to come off? Maybe I need a larger sledge hammer...........

I had to pound on the tirewall with a rubber malet several times, tire came out eventually.

Can happen on any car. Back off the lug nuts a few turns. Lower the car off the jack, back up a few feet, move forward again. The weight of the car will almost always break the tire loose. That's why you leave the nuts on, so the tire can't come off.

Use a wire brush on the rotor, and the center hole of the wheel to smooth it a bit. I like to put a little grease on the inside of the hole, and a bit on each of the lugs. Keeps the rust from getting things stuck.
