Default trouble shooting trailer wiring harness

Hello All,

I am having a problem with a 2004 Pacifica trailer harness. The brake lights work on the vehicle but not at the plug. I am making the assumption that the harness combines the turn signals and stop lights. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The harness takes power directly from the power distribution box in the engine compartment not from the brakes/turn signals so they can work but they willnot trigger the trailer lights if the supply fuse is blown in the PDM. Check for a blown fuse #10.

Yes sir, it's a Chrysler harness. The numbers on the tag read 82208221 and 23489A if that makes a difference. Using a test light, I get power for tail lights, one with constant power ( don't remember which one) and both turn signals but no brake.

Thanks

Checked the number 10 fuse ( blue 20a) and it looked good and has continuity. Anything else I should check?

Thanks
