Default USFIDELIS extended warranty?

I'm interested in purchasing an extended warranty for my 07 Pacifica. Has anyone used or heard about the extended warranties offered by this company? I bought my Pac used so the original warranty has expired.

I didn't think about that, good advice. Does Chrysler offer any extended warranties for pre-owned vehicles?

If the 07 has less than 48k miles.. you can buy a "new" Chrysler warranty. If over 4 years and 48k miles, you can buy a "used" Chrysler warranty. Did this on my town and country. Bought it from my uncle used @ 3 years 65k miles. It has 5k left on the extended warranty which I transferred. Then After the transfer, Chrysler sold me a used warranty for another 5 years and up to 113k miles in my case (50k miles additional). They have many year and mileage coverages for the warranties. Note that in my case w/ the 7/70 powertrain.. I had to transfer that ($150) before I could transfer/buy any extended warranties since the 7/70 was still valid in my case. I would imagine the same goes for the lifetime powertrain if the 07 has that.

Unfortunatley, the lifetime warranty only applys to the original title holder. Good advice on the "used" warranty. Who would I talk to about the used version?

Do a search online for "Chrysler Service Contracts". There are a lot of dealers selling them out there. (at least last year there was) Then compare to what your dealer sells (price wise)

I bought mine from chryslerservicecontracts.com but they don't seem to be online anymore. They were the cheapest I could find last year and the year before for my 2 vehicles. I always get the "maximum care" (5000 components covered) so there is little question as to if a part is covered.

I forgot about the lifetime non transferable thing. hope that does not prevent you from getting the used warranty. You might want to think about this though.. not sure what happens to these warranties if Chrysler goes belly up. I would imagine that we would be out of luck. Any thoughts on this?

If they do go out of buisness then that would be bad, real bad. I'm not talking about becoming a division of GM, I'm saying that they close the doors and we all own a piece of history. I'm sure in this case that the warranties are all void and they return(eventually) some of the cash. The sad part about it is, even with a non-automaker affiliated warranty provider(Usfedelis), they want you to take it to the dealer of manufacture to get the work done. So, if there aren't any dealers of your make then, well, your up the old dirty river...
