Vibration when braking

Warped brake rotors.
I just fixed this over the weekend. These are pretty heavy cars and the rotors can warp pretty quickly if you do a lot of city driving or towing (or drive your car in 100+ degrees in Texas weather while towing I took both rotors off and had them turned at a local auto parts store for 16 bucks. Bought some new brake pads and reassembled and the vibration is gone. If you can keep the brake rotors from warping I think the pads themselves would probably last til 100,000. Mine had 64,000 on it when I took the rotors off and the original pads looked to have a little over a 1/4 wear of the total pad.
You can usually feel warped rotors pulsating through the brake pedal if your vibration condition is the same.

Thanks alot guys. You were right. It was the warped rotors, and that problem is solved. Now can you guys tell me while driving at 70+ mph the car vibrates. The steering wheel even shakes. I was thinking maybe it needs a balance but not sure.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have also found that the Caliper slides need regular maintenance - whenever I rotate tires anyway. It seems the Chrysler setup more so than others I have worked is susceptible to the caliper slides binding/loosing their lubrication leading to uneven pad wear and, I would think potential vibration. I use a high quality brake caliper grease and just pull them and lube them quickly while they are easy to get at.

ok. so I was reading about warped rotors, and found this article which I thought was pretty interesting.
So this morning I did a little test with some "hard" breaking patterns from 35 mph, to see if I could clean/scrub the rotors. Vibration seems to have improved a bit. Probably shaved a bit of the pads off too.
However, this being a used car, I took a look at the rotors and it looks like a some point the brake pads must have been used all the way down, because it looks like there is (what I figure to be) a piston groove along 1/2 inch perimiter of the rotor.
