Where to buy front struts?

RE: Where to buy front struts?
Well, how about purchasing them from an auto parts store? I have always been able to go on-line and find them from KYB, Monroe, etc.
When I do a search, it finds part# for a lot of Chrysler vehicles, but not the Pacifica.
I already saw that it takes 2.8 hours to do both. What do the strut assemblies cost. Are there other parts that the dealer is going to surprise me with?

RE: Where to buy front struts?
OK, I went directly to KYB, Monroe and Gabriel's web sites
KYB had zip for the front, only SR Series for the rear!
Rear struts part #'s - SR2006 & SR2007 = $356.36 ea. at AutoPartsGiant.com
Monroe had Sensa-Trac and Reflex models. Sensa-Trac being the premium choice.
Front struts part # 72130 at AutoPartsGiant.com = $85.26 ea.
Bearing Plate part # 905911
Rear struts specialty part# 40211 = $329.46 ea.
Gabriel had Ultra struts.
Front struts part # G56772
So what is the prefered choice here. I have the 19" wheels with brand new Michelins all around. I want to be sure to have new shocks for long and even tire wear. As well as improved handeling and that new car feel!

From what I know these PACs have a Mercedes designed rear auto leveling suspension. So, if you don't have to change the back, don't and if you do go with the OEM if you can afford it. How many miles are on your PAC?

70,528 Miles on my Pacifica.
The rear suspension seems fine. The fronts are the one I need replaced, I think?
Had an inspection sticker this morning, I was told that the tie rod ends have a tad of play. Not enough to reject me or to stop an alignment, but he suggest I keep my eye on it.

That seems to be expensive for only front struts but you are going to the dealer. Did you have the work done or is this just a quote? If it's just a quote I would get prices from local mechanics that you can trust? If you go with good after market struts this should save you $. Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.

RE: Where to buy front struts?
PacificaBus,
I agree. I read somewhere on here that the hours to perform the job at the dealer is rated at 2.8 for both front struts. They are coming up with 3.8. When I asked about this, the girl said that is what it says on Alldata.com. Is this correct? The $95 for the struts is OK. I believe that the OEM units are made by KYB. Is this true or am I mistaking? They where $114. But he knew that I new a mechanic there and gave me a slight break.
$464.40 would be a price that I would happily go along with.
