Good morning, Well it started with a small leak on the power steering pump so I replaced the pump myself and the belt as well since I had the pump off. After a few days I started to hear a noise that sounded like a winding sound. When the car is cool it is really loud but as the car heats up the noise fades to a point where you can barely hear it. I had returned the pump and replaced it again thinking that was the issue however it came back a day later. I do have a small leak it what appears to be the radiator hose but do not think it is related. I tried to listen to where the noise is coming from but the only place I can isolate it is to near the power pump however the water pump, alternator are in the same area. Has anyone had a similar issue that can direct me? My friend thinks I need to prime the power steering pump again but the noise is happening even if I dont move the steering wheel. I need Help!!!!
