01 T&C Power Sliding doors are heavy when manually closing
I have an 01 T&C LXIthat has power doors that seem to be dragging while manually opening and closing them...I have searched this topic and found a fix (on this forum)that refers to trimming a rubber/plastic that is on the coil inside the motor/ clutch assy.
Does anyone posting have any experience doing this, or any resources for an exploded view of the motor assy?
I'd like to give it a try as my powerdoors seam to function normally (other than the dragging issue), instead of replacing the motors at $200.00 each.
Any help regarding my issue would be helpful.
Thank you in advance for your assistance!

RE: 01 T&C Power Sliding doors are heavy when manually closing
i have manualy operated doors, but i had a same problem.
those doors slide on three bearings. top one, middle (just below rear window) and lower one.
as the midle one is the only one exposed to water, that one was giving me trouble (other two are protected by the car body).
i just sprayed it well with lubricant and that made my doors slide like new.
if that doesn't help, try taking that bearing down and dip it into the oil for a while. clean after and assembly.
hope this works for you.

I have an 02 T/C and had the same problem and read your post did the oil on middle bearing and that solved the problem thanks.
Now if I could the doors working properly that would be great when I push the button in the van for right door to open the left door opens the hand held remote works fine and help would be great.
