Default 06 T & C air bag light stays on

I have a 06 Town and country, I recently had the rack and Pinion replaced, and when I got the van back the air bag light stays on, horn will not work when pressed on steering wheel, but it will sound when remote lock is pressed, and cruise control will not work,,,,I have read in a couple of other threads that this problem could be the clockspring, but I don't know why this happened when the rack was replaced, and I read that this was a warranteed item on some models, but do not know if it is covered on an 06 model,,,, and was wondering if there was a wiring plug that had to be unplugged when rack and pinion was replaced that maybe was left unplugged

This is unrelated to your specific problem, but just for people having a related problem and looking for clues: A blown fuse, or a bad connection in the fuse box might cause the air bag light to go on.

I recently pulled the first fuse in the fuse box, which broke because of corrosion and thus I had to remove all fuses and relays, and cleaned the two fuse jumpers (the pins below the black plastic plate where the fuse pins are inserted). Problem resolved – my local Chrysler dealership checked the airbag and everything is fine they told me.

"horn will not work when pressed on steering wheel, but it will sound when remote lock is pressed, and cruise control will not work"

Clock spring there is not a fuse for this stuff on an 06 van.
