Unhappy 06 T&C Front End Noise

I have a '06 Town & Country that is making a noise from the driver side front end. When you turn the wheel or go over bumps is sound like a popping noise.

I jacke dup the front left and turned the wheel and put my hand on the stabilizer bar link and i could feel it popping. I have once replace the sway bar links once before....I also put my hand on the stabilizer bar and could feel it popping as well.

Any ideas?

Hello - I just got my first Town and Country...literally bougt it yesteday, so am still learning about Chryslers, but I can speak to the same issue I had on my old Pontiac Montana.

I think you are on the rigt track...check the ball joint and tie rod ends for play. I had same symptoms and turned out the tie rod ends were completely shot.

My five cents...hopefully more replies are posted but, definitely check those two items. Good luck!

Stabilizer bar Rubbers is your problem. I've got same problem after changing control arms, links and said rubbers at beginning of year. These rubbers whether inferior material are not lasting long.

If the vehicle exhibits a muffled rattle sound which is heard during low speed
driving on road surfaces with minor fluctuations (such as a parking lot) and during turning maneuvers you may need to either replace front sway bar bushings at the frame and/or a couple Front Sway Eliminator Links (Part #04743669AA)
