the codes are really 12,13, and 55 the first code means you disconnected the battery.the second one is the map sensor with is causing your car to run like poop.or not run at all. the third code is the test is over (55) here's a trick try starting the car with the Map sensor disconnected.it should start.but run like poop.let me know MOE!

u mean the maf sensor? when i start it it runs with out it for like 30 seconds then the idle will go down and up acouple times. then runs normal has alittle sputter when reving it.

ok i did it again 11,12 and 55. i notice when i turned the ignition on the tach moves too and when i did the check engine light test moving the ignition back and forth 5 to 6 times the tach went around in circles.

the map senson was a comon problem back in the 80s..the tach moving around might be because its going into a test mode. we use test equip at the dealer ship.this method is really old school but will get you in the area.make sure you change the vac line to the sensor. let me know MOE!

ok replaced the map sensor from one in the junk yard sorry not rich enough to buy a new one. also they said the code was too thatr some ignition thing when u take the distribrutor out they said something in there or on there needs to be replace to help the missing ideling. i start the van up for awhile runs normal for 5 secongs then the idele will go up and down then stops but the light is still on and i need this van asap to move 900 miles away and i gotta make 2 trips. anyone have any ideas?
