Thank you very much for letting me know.

I missed the previous message. It is good to hear that you've got ECM fixed.
I'm very busy at work and with kids. I didn't have any chance to think about it.

How much did the service charge you to fit the part and reprogram?

thanks,
HC
Oh yeah, I understand how the kids keep you busy. I have four. It cost $200.

Hello AJ. I know this is a really old post so sorry to every one in advance. How is your car going now after having the unit replaced? I have some serious issues with my TCM and have installed a couple of rebuilt units only for them to stop working again. I spoke to the company I got the units from and they have told me that it is a ecu issue now and that needs to be replaced but they can't do that in house and I need to find someone else. Bit cautious about spending any more on the car and feel like torching it.
While I'm here does any one want to purchase a 2001 grand voyager limited in dark blue with cream leather, 180000 kms and some ecu issues????

Oh, I feel your pain. I am a commodore man, and when I needed more seating and was looking around for a suitable car on reviews, the review was for this car was gleaming, except for hard getting parts, but really these cars are lemons, I so miss my commodore. Since I had the ECU replaced, the battery crapped itself, the back brakes need changing, the idle is rough (has been like that since I bought it), the idle pulley needs to be changed, and now the ac is playing up. So at the moment I am trying to sort out the ac, but the thing is that this car is designed so that ac electronics can be read by a drb scan tool, but it seems that my local Chrysler dealers don't have one, so it has to be done the old fashioned way at $100 per hour, screw that. So you replaced the ecu already, as well as the tcu?. Do you have fault codes?. What is it doing?
