Default 2001 T&C 3.8L Engine Code P0700

I have a 2001 Town and Country and the trouble code P0700 comes up. My transmission does not shift right at all. I have to take off extremely slowly otherwise my van jerks abruptly. Once i get up to 30 mph the rpm's read 3000 because the tranny doesn't shift. Then if get it up to about 40 it finally shifts but when i get up to about 50 it slips out of gear and the rpm's shoot back up. Any explinations to why this may be happening? Also it jerks when i shift into reverse or drive.

Default 2005 Town and Country (Grand Voyager in UK) - won't go into gear P0740

Chrysler Grand Voyager (Town and Country) 2005 2.8. I first had a ABS light come up and in low gear just after starting to use the car from cold I'd get, what I assume is the ABS kicking in, a juddering even on the lightest touch of the break, but this would not happen after driving around for a minute. I took to garages to get codes but all struggled. I tool to main dealer and even they struggled and just said it could be a wiring problem. The light would come and go now and again. After a few months it became Malfunction light. Took to garage and they got P0740-TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH CONTROL CIRCUIT. Since got a new TCM and replaced but that's not fixed it. Not sure if ECM has to be reset, or how to do that, to clear codes and it to start to work? If I do that and it still doesn't resolve..what's the next step?

Thanks in advance
