Exclamation 2002 2.5 crd lx cuts out ( help needed)

hi i just brought a 2002 voyager 2.5 crd lx with 126k on the clock
i took it for good run out and was doing apx 70 mph and the car cut out on me i managed to get to hard sholder and turn key off then restart the engine,
i took off again and within 1 mile i happend a again so repeated what i done above but it took 2 turns of key to start

it was fine for rest off my journey apx 45 miles
on way back it did same cut out 2 times then fine

i have just took it on motorway and done 70mph noked it down to 4th and accelerated and it cut out again

i have noticed that my number 2 injector is blowing as around the housing is full soot ect and you can feel the air presure when you put hands above

im after info on what it could be as i read on hear and sounds like the p1130 fault

last thing would this fault affect my fuel comsumption

thanks in advance

Switch you car from accessory to on (where the light scome on but do not start) 3 times in 5 secs ending in the lights on position. After a few seconds the read out will show you an error code e.g. P1130.

Come back and tell us what the code is as that will give guidance to what is wrong with your car.

Its a fuel pressure code. Do a search on this forum, there is plenty about it. I believe that it is sometimes due to the actual fuel pump and other times a relay. Merlin, who is a Chrysler mechanic, has writen plenty about it in the past.
