Default 2002 Chrysler Town/Country ignition key will not turn on

I have a 2002 Chrysler Town/Country ignition key will not turn on have wiggled the steering wheel and a shot of WD40 no results anyone had this issue and what it will cost for repair? I just noticed the steering wheel isn’t locked like it normally is when the key has been turned off how can you lock it? I think this is could be the reason the key is not turning on.

The same thing just happened to me last night. So was it expensive to fix? Were you able to do it or did you take it in to the shop?
