Default 2003 Voyager question

I have a 2003 Voyager that I have a question about. Is there any way to tell if this model had/has a keyless entry system of some sort? When we bought the vehicle (used) there was a remote stuck in the glove box that, even though it had a good battery, it didn't work. The dealer knew nothing about the car having a remote. A few years later, my wife got in the car to start it and the horn started blowing and headlights flashing as if there was an alarm installed. The only way to stop it was disconnect the battery. The vehicle hasn't done this since. Would the VIN give a hint? I've since lost the remote in a box in our garage but it would be nice to have it working.

I believe all Voyagers from that era had keyless entry/remote central locking fitted.

If you don't have any remote key fobs, then you can go to a dealer and (probably at considerable cost) buy one and they will programme it to your car.

They can tell by looking up your VIN. In the options list.

I took the van in for the upper power steering hose recall and had the service guy look up the vin and see if the vehicle had keyless entry. He saw everything but that but said that didn't mean anything since most all of the Voyager LX's have keyless entry. I asked how much for a new key fob and how much to program and he said around $50 for the fob and another $75 to program it. That is when I decided to just get a security system off the 'e' place and install it myself. I figured I could get one identical to the one in my wifes Monte Carlo (Scytek Astra) then we could use the same fob's for both vehicles. I can get one for what the dealership charges for programming and do all the work myself! It was interesting though to find that the van was purchased in Kansas and used for the first 20,000 miles in South Carolina. Budget Rent-A-Car if I remember right. Thanks everyone for your assistance.
