Default Aux Heater..

Hi, ahhhhh, just came back on to mention to blank off the fuel line from the tank. Can't remember size of plug at mo as I got it by measuring the OD of the fuel pipe with my Vernier Gauge from Aldi, and yes its a very accurate tool. Don't use ordinary Jubillee hose clip to secure fuel hose to blank, I used a small bore clip that I got from an accessory shop, which by looking at it sqeezes hose evenly all around.
Hose clips you mentioned, just use a mole wrench, set it and it holds clip open.
Refilling, well large bore pipework from radiator to thermostat around top of engine could be doing with a bleed on it, but there's none. I filled tank and bleed this pipework at the hose connecting to the thermostat, but the tank still required top up after taking engine up to operating temperature. Try sqeezing hose at Radiator to purge air out.
Will put some picks of wiper motor tray removal in your mail. I must tell you that thermostat is tricky to remove, forby it being down back of cylinder head.
Beware if your of nervous disposition and likely to go mad.
Goggs...

Default Thermostat renewal.

Hi, how long will it take, well would prob be a Chrysler time somewhere. Should take you say 4 hrs like a timing belt kit change. Your mates got small hands well thats ideal for getting down side of thermostat to disconnect the pain in the butt, intake down pipe bolt. Get a wiper arm extracting tool for job, mine cost £8 odds and is labelled battery terminal/bearing puller from Machine Mart.
Good luck,
Goggs.
