Default 2006 Gran Voyager red light on dash

2006 Grand Voyager

Red light PERMANENTLY illuminated on the dash under the temp gauge.

Car is running fine. I have the grey key.

Have searched and discovered a possible like to a SKIM issue.

I have tried locking and unlocking with key and spare key on both drivers and passenger door. Also on boot / trunk.

I have also tried hitting the dash and doesn't look like a loose connection.

I have done the on off, on off key turn and the system reports no faults.

Can anyone help me with this?

The clockspring is probably the culprit...

CLOCKSPRING for 2003 Chrysler Voyager|5082050AC

It's part #2 in the diagram (it's the same part on your car as well, I checked)

Thanks - will definitely check that out. however it also looks like I might have aftermarket alarm installed - that may be the reason for the red light on the dash that isn't standard ...!!!
