Default 2008 brakes - does anyone have the answer?

Hi all, I've done the research, read the threads and am aware of the 2008 'brake' issues. But, last weekend I changed the disks, pads and calipers on the front of the T&C and they still overheat!! The driver side caliper had a fault that the dust seal around the piston was displaced and the piston exposed so was a little dirty. But that was all I found.

I bleed the front brakes and drove it for a few days and at first the disks got fairly hot but not excessive and no 'hot brakes smell' that I had before the change out. But now it is back!!

Someone must have a clue what is wrong with these vehicles?

Is it hydraulics i.e. ABS system?

Any thoughts?

Cheers, John

jack the wheel up ,get someone to press the brake pedal so wheel locks, then remove foot from pedal, does the piston release slighlty,is the wheel nice and free moving or does it have drag?
